Dr. Shapiro can be Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I recommend that you bring someone with you to your appointment (preferably a protective male) so Dr. Shapiro’s ego doesn’t get the best of him. He can mistreat patients.
Dr. Shapiro is an amazing surgeon!!! He’s extremely knowledgeable, caring, and he makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. I waited 5 hours for him to see me and he was worth the wait!!! I needed to have a lump removed from my left inner thigh and he was just the man for the job!!! The tumor was removed in about 10 minutes. I felt no pain during or after the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Shapiro. He’s the best!!!
Dr. Shapiro is a top surgeon with exceptional skill and a wonderful, caring personality. I was lucky enough to find Dr. Shapiro from a friend who highly recommended him. Dr. Shapiro performed a double mastectomy due to the BRCA2 gene mutation. I could not ask for a better surgeon. Dr. Shapiro answered all of my questions and made me incredibly comfortable. The surgery went great! I can honestly say that Dr. Shapiro saved my life and I am forever grateful. I cannot recommend him more highly. Thank you Dr. Shapiro!
Staff is curt. Dr. Shapiro is most arguably an excellent surgeon in some cases. Other times, like my experience, he does not listen to either the patient and/or referring doctors notes. He is good but there are better. And if mistakes are made Dr. Shapiro is the last to admit them.
I love this man! He is a world renowned surgeon, who has contributed greatly in the treatment of Melanoma. From the moment I met him I instinctively knew he was the one I wanted to handle my case. He is an extremely busy man and he tries to handle each case as an individual, but he also has an excellent staff. His nurse Chris is amazing…I would consider anyone who gets to see this wonderful group of people to consider themselves blessed.
