I definitely do not recommend the Lifetime Adoption Agency to anyone looking to adopt. Our experience was awful.
We were with Lifetime for 3 years. We paid them $60,000 and we didn’t get a single match. They will not update you. The only time they message you is to ask you to increase the amount you’re willing to spend on the adoption. We asked for a refund and they threw the contract back in our face saying there are no refunds. We are devastated.
They are in the business of price gouging and masking it as philanthropic. Their pricing structure is absolutely ridiculous. And you still have to pay for your own lawyer and home visit. The sad part is the Catholic church recommended this agency… go figure.
They make you sign a contract with a $20,000 deposit (which is non-refundable after 72 hours). They never call or reach out to you, unless asking for money of course. They have a very low adoption rate. They state they are birth-parent driven which basically translates as “Adoptive parents get no support or encouragement.” Their way of supporting you is insisting you listen to “required” webinars which are not only repetitive and annoying, but are really just to buy time. If you are not okay with gambling $60,000 please stay far, far away! It is our duty to make sure other adoptive parents are aware of what they are signing up for. If I can save just one family then I have done my job.
This company has smooth salespeople who convinced us that we would adopt in no time. 4 years later we spent $75,000 and are broke, with no baby and no leads. Their friendliness disappeared the second they got our money, and whenever we call for an update they act like we are bothering them.
