Gladney Center for Adoption

It’s truly shocking! We were so disturbed by their practices that we cancelled our application and lost our $40,000 deposit. Gladneys is being investigated by the office of the attorney general for offering homeless pregnant women shelter in their “dormitory” under the guise of helping underprivileged women, but then coercing them to give up their babies for adoption.

To say that this experience was heartbreaking, misleading, and confusing would be a gross understatement. We were promised so many things by Gladney Adoption and they never had any intention to follow through. They took advantage of “grey areas” in their contract which were to their benefit. This was very mean, and I feel like we were scammed. I feel so bad for the waiting families that get scammed and misled into choosing Gladney Adoptions. It’s not right what they are doing to people, and I believe one day they will all be exposed.

I do not recommend using this company. We were with them for almost 3 years and only spoke to 1 birth mother who ended up overdosing. We asked for our money back but they said they have a no refund policy. We lost $70,000 using Gladney and now are unsure if we’ll be able to have a family. You’re better off using any other agency instead of Gladney.
