The best heart surgeon in Canada
Dr. David is the best heart surgeon we have in Canada. He fixed 2 issues with my heart, and although it was freaky going in for open heart surgery, I felt completely safe in his care. He said to me, don’t worry, you are not going to die. This is what I do everyday. He has operated on over 18,000 hearts. Amazing. And he came to see me on a Saturday and Sunday while I was in the ICU. He is 78 and could be retired on a beach somewhere. But he chooses to save lives instead. Just an incredible human being. We are lucky to have him.

Words cannot describe how amazing and compassionate he is
Dr. David is truly an amazing human being. Not only is he a brilliant surgeon and doctor, but his bedside manner is not like anything I’ve seen before. He did a Ross procedure on my mom a few days ago and was with her for every step of the way. He met with her before surgery and explained everything and stayed with her even after he was done operating to ensure she was stable. I felt so comfortable knowing he is my mom’s surgeon and blessed that she has him. He truly cares about his patients. He also comes and visits her every single day in the hospital to make sure she is doing okay. Thank you Dr. David for everything you have done. You have changed my mom’s life and I will be forever grateful for you. If you have Dr. David you are in amazing hands and should feel confident going into surgery that you will be just fine!

Thanks to Dr. David, I am alive. He is a brilliant surgeon and I am so thankful that he did my open heart surgery. I am forever thankful that Dr. David squeezed me in on his busy surgical schedule. A life saver
I’m alive because of his experience and knowledge. 6 weeks ago I had an aortic valve replaced by Dr. David. He visited me every day during my hospital stay, showing care in my daily progress. He is a life saver and I wish him all the health and strength and God bless him!
